We’ll do that together by creating and delivering compelling, high-quality content that drives awareness, engagement, conversation, and revenue.

As the Social Media Specialist for PXG, you’ll do that by helping to maintain the brand’s social strategy, actively supporting our social channels, fostering brand advocacy and assisting in the development of campaigns and content. Your work will be judged on platform growth, audience engagement, and lead generation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Moderate user generated content
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report/escalate findings to the appropriate team as required
  • Help generate, curate and publish relevant content that helps build meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Implement a proactive strategy for capturing customer online reviews
  • Help drive online advocacy
  • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
  • Assist in the development of editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Adhere to the marketing strategy when developing content, projects, testing and reporting
  • Assist in ideation and design
  • Help manage and execute cross-channel campaigns and projects
  • Help identify and monitor benchmarks for measuring the impact (ROI) of social media programs
  • Draft supporting copy for use on various social platforms, both organic and paid
  • Help setup and optimize company pages 
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • 1 - 2 years marketing experience specifically within social media
  • Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience

Skills Required:

  • Skilled in content development
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application
  • Experience sourcing and managing content
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap Chat, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side; able to demonstrate why ideas are analytically sound
  • Ability to optimize content to targeted audiences to drive conversions
  • Display ability to effectively communicate information and ideas
  • Ability to learn and understand proprietary and third-party systems
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the principles of SEO including keyword research
  • Demonstrate winning social customer service techniques
  • Great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • Team spirited and possess a positive attitude

  • Willingness to step outside of a prescribed role to help achieve business objectives
