Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions
  • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
  • Oversee design (i.e. Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog)
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales
  • Design, create and manage promotions
  • Compile reports showing results (ROI)
  • Become an advocate for each brand in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Demonstrate ability to adhere to the marketing strategy and then drive that strategy taking into consideration testing and metrics
  • Implement a proactive strategy for capturing customer online reviews
  • Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business, report/escalate findings to management
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal and/or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
  • Assist with managing and executing promotional campaigns and projects
  • Ability to travel with sales/club fitting team to various events for continued brand awareness
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • 1 - 2 years marketing experience specifically within social media
  • Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience

Skills Required:

  • Exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side; able to demonstrate why ideas are analytically sound
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application; experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap Chat, Vine, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Curate relevant content to reach the audience most likely to buy
  • Skilled in Content Development
  • Maintain excellent writing and language skills
  • Enjoy a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem
  • Display ability to effectively communicate information and ideas
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Maintain a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research; highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”
  • Demonstrate winning social customer service techniques
  • Great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • Team cooperation to maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with all employees and all customers, including customers through social networking sites
  • Ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines, work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
