Job Description

As Social Media Specialist for PXG, you will help us build brand awareness and increase sales by supporting our social strategy and bringing fresh new ideas to the marketing team. Day-to-day, you will be actively managing our social channels, engaging with customers, assisting in the development of campaigns and content, and telling the PXG story in a compelling and conversational way. Not only will you be an expert on all things related to equipment and technology, but also someone who has an interest in fashion and high-end apparel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand community, blogger and Influencer outreach efforts
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales
  • Design, create and manage content (both stand alone and campaign driven)
  • Demonstrate ability to execute marking strategies taking into consideration testing and metrics
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business; report/escalate findings to management
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal and/or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • 2+ years' marketing experience specifically within social media
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
  • Experience with luxury or high-end brands preferred
  • Experience within the golf industry is a plus
  • Experience with Influencer marketing a plus

Skills Required:

  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap Chat, etc.)
  • Understands how to use customer data to improve performance and approach
  • Maintain excellent writing and grammar skills including strong content development
  • Effectively communicate information and ideas
  • Experience utilizing Sprout Social, Google Analytics and Hubspot a plus
  • Strong desire to provide an excellent social customer service experience
  • Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
  • Exhibit a positive, cooperative attitude with all employees and all customers, including customers through social networking sites
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in fast-paced deadline driven atmosphere
  • Up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and fashion marketing techniques

Other:

  • This position will require the ability to work weekends (Sunday - Thursday)
  • Ability to occasionally travel with sales/club fitting team to various events for continued brand awareness
