Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Communications with creating and maintaining a positive image of the PXG brand through various special events and marketing related initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess gravitas and professional business presence to interact with customers, clients, and vendors to increase visibility while working in a highly communicative and collaborative team environment.


  • Research and identify new partnerships and/or event opportunities to assist with growing brand awareness, developing brand loyalty, and creating positive brand sentiment
  • Coordinate industry events, including PGA section events, demo fitting days and technology shows
  • Vet partnership requests in accordance with internal review processes
  • Assist with vendor/host contract negotiations
  • Act as the onsite coordinator for events to ensure all brand guidelines are upheld and details are executed to PXG’s standards (set-up, execution, tear down, etc.)
  • Assist with managing and executing promotional campaigns and projects
  • Conduct research on individuals and vendors that come into contact with the company and provide background sheets
  • Take advantage of photo/video opportunities and share content with the social media team
  • Maintain the company’s event calendar
  • Coordinate and confirm travel arrangements for staff and others as needed
  • Identify opportunities and efficiency improvements
  • Constantly take initiative, think outside the box, anticipate needs
  • Maintain PXG product knowledge, golf industry awareness and competitor trends
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Sports Management or related experience/education
  • 4+ years’ significant event planning experience and demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal relations
  • Knowledge of/hands-on golf club fitting experience highly desirable

  • Enthusiasm for golf, or sports in general
  • Ability to work in a face-paced, highly focused environment with changing priorities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
