Job Description

The CNC Machinist role is responsible for the daily setup and operation of a 5-axis CNC machine, and ensuring the machinery is running at full capacity at all times. 

Shift: 3pm-12am   


  • Perform daily machine startup, production and shutdown procedures
  • Perform set-up, operation, program editing and inspection of hardware, with minimal assistance and in accordance with CAD designs, blueprints, SOP’s and other supporting documentation and procedures
  • Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufacturers machine recommendations
  • Keep equipment at peak operating performance by performing some machine alignment procedures and optic cleaning
  • Perform to established productivity standards and sustain a level of quality for parts produced
  • Prepare and verify material to be used in the production
  • Inspect parts to process specifications
  • Ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained for efficient production
  • Pick up offsets, replace dull or broken tools, and make minor program edits
  • Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Ensure high-quality completion of all jobs
  • Perform de-burr, conventional machining operations and rework

Experience and Education Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of 5-axis experience
  • Experience using CAD design and CNC machining packages such as SolidWorks and Mastercam not required but helpful
  • Familiarity with Haas Control preferred
  • Golf equipment knowledge a plus

Working Conditions:

Shift: 3pm-12am

This position primarily works in a loud machine shop environment.  This position is occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 40lbs.  May be required to stand on feet for lengthy periods of time.  This position may be exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
