Job Description

As Customer Service Manager, your team will be responsible for delivering unparalleled support to PXG clients and partners. In addition, you will provide strategic and day-to-day direction to the Central Scheduling Team and our Welcome Center agents. In the regular course of carrying out customer service responsibilities, the ideal candidate will assist in driving sales of PXG offerings to luxury golf consumers and accounts to increase revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets the strategy for the customer service team; responsible for the overall execution in providing an exceptional customer service experience that resonates with the luxury golf consumers
  • Provides team support and sales training and techniques
  • Implements, monitors and maintains high level customer service standards. Works with external consultants for best-in-class customer service practices.
  • Maintains a culture of continuous quality improvement by monitoring customer service trends, determining system improvements, establishing service metrics, etc., and implementing changes and adjustments as necessary
  • Manages exception and special requests, effectively resolves escalated issues and ensures business-appropriate solutions
  • Answers consumer calls, schedules fittings, processes orders and provides updates on order status, product inquiries, and requests for general information
  • Practices and promotes teamwork and synergy between departments. Sets a good personal example of attitude and performance, and proactively “jumps in” when necessary
  • Performs other related duties as needed

Experience and Education Required:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications or equivalent related experience
  • 7+ years demonstrated leadership experience preferably in a luxury/high end consumer products environment
  • Management of customer support and/or outbound sales teams required
  • Golf industry/luxury product knowledge a plus

 Skills Required:

  • Provides achievement-oriented, team-based leadership and learning, catering to the luxury consumer
  • Demonstrated sales achievement and success in meeting sales targets
  • A professional, positive and flexible attitude
  • Demonstrated patience, care and customer service approach in all matters related to PXG
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; strong phone management and active listening skills
  • Incredible attention to detail and execution
  • Implementation and maintenance of ERP/CRM/MRP systems highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel
