Job: Club Fitting and Product Training Specialist - UK based position

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing PXG’s brand across all sales channels through a comprehensive program of organizing fitting events and club-in-hand trials, and providing educational opportunities for accounts and consumers. This position will play a critical role in developing long term relationships and provides subject matter expertise in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment.  This position does have travel associated with the role, and estimated to be 50-75% of the time.  In addition, this position is based in the London area; local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and protect the PXG brand across all sales channels
  • Assist with fitting appointments and provide a positive and satisfying custom club fitting experience
  • Ensure each customer and account receives exceptional service by responding to requests in a timely manner  
  • Focus on understanding accounts needs, challenges and preferences to assist in increased brand recognition and sales generation
  • Proactively provide account staff product training and education programs
  • Assist in the sales process by promoting PXG in order to increase revenue/profitability and achieve the region’s monthly, quarterly and annual sales milestones
  • Maintain strong communications with the Regional Mobile Club Fitter, and with the broader team
  • Generate management reports for the European Sales Manager, noting weekly activity, and providing an on-the-ground insight of the market place
  • Maintain superior product knowledge
  • Perform other related duties as required

Experience and Education:

  • Extensive club fitting experience in a golf retail sales and/or customer service environment
  • Strong track record of strong relationship building and sales acumen while providing a high level of service      
  • Golf industry experience required

Skills Required:

  • Exhibit a professional, positive and "can-do" approach in all situations 
  • Strong relationship, communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with internal and external teams; ability to successfully work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Enthusiastic team player and self-starter to complete assignments without the need for continual direction
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, with some overnight trips possible; flexibility to work temporarily in other regional locations, based on business needs, highly desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM/sales database experience helpful
